According to multiple reliable sources and event summaries, the incident took place on Portland Avenue between East 33rd Street and East 34th Street in the Central neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. This location is just a few blocks from where George Floyd died, just over half a mile (.55 miles) from there.
