The works of director Alex Proyes is something worth decoding. He is the man behind, The Crow(1994), Dark City(1998), I Robot(2004), Knowing(2009), and Gods of Egypt (2016). Just a short reading of the Plots to both Dark City and Knowing show so much very heavy symbolism involving extraterrestrials, mind control, and apocalyptic style events, as well as the knowing have numeral codes as part of the plot itself. I'm not a big movie or tv watcher at all but I'm going to take some time and look into this man's body of work. Let alone I'm just going to say I never understood why The Crow was such a cult classic. But now I have a feeling there is a lot more to it than I realized.
